Capability Maturity Model Integration is a model for improvement and evaluation of spftware products development and maintenance. This model was developed by the Software Engineering Instititute, from Carnegie Mellon University, and it's constituted of five maturity levels. CMMI is currently being adopted by software companies looking for standardization and maturity of their processes based on best practices in an international level.
Novutek, based in its mission and its compromise for providing world-class software products that give value to our national and international customers trough the use of eficient and certified industrial processes to assure quality, during the last two years developed a hard work plan to achieve level 3 in CMMI. The evaluation process SCAMPI A took place on may 2007. The results were positive, and now we are part of the small group of domestic and international enterprises with this distinction.
